Here we will create an ecosystem (an area of animals and how they interact with each other and non-living things).
In an ecosystem you have Populations, which are all the animals of the same species in that area
You also have Communitys, which are all the living organisms of an area
Then, there is the ecosystem itself, which is all the living and non-living things in an area and how they interact.
Then, as you reach more broad levels you get Biomes, which area very large areas of similar climate and ecosystems, usually cover areas of hundreads of miles.
(This is an example of a tundra)
Finally, you reach the largest area type, which are Biospheres, which is all the Biomes on a planet put together.

(Everything above and on the ground, and inside the atmosphere)
And there you go, You have made yourself an ecosystem.
